She was a former member of the Petti Coat Club and the area Country Club. A life long farmer's wife, she enjoyed all the hard work that went with it. She loved gardening, raising flowers, vegetables, chickens, ducks and cows. She was an avid gardener and seamstress and liked to call herself a "Jack of all trades" as she also liked to do carpentry work around the farm. Being a homemaker was her first love. She was always able to answer the "how to" questions when asked by her children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors.
A funeral service will be at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic, with Rev. Tom Graves, officiating.
